I’d like to introduce you to another contemporary of mine, Teresa Reasor. Here she is to tell us all about her Navy SEAL Books:
1)Please tell us what your SEAL books are like? Are they suspenseful? Hot and steamy? What words would you use to describe them?
My SEAL books are about alpha warriors and strong heroines. The books usually run 60% suspense and 40% romance. The love scenes are hot and very much an integral part of the plot. The story lines are usually very emotional so readers always tell me they’ll cry one minute and laugh the next.
2) What are the names of any series you have written, and what’s your latest release?
I write in multiple genres and have written several different series.
A. My historical romance series is the Highland Moonlight Spinoff Series. I have a full-length novel in that series that will be released March 21st titled To Capture A Highlander’s Heart: The Wedding Night.
B. The Superstition Series is my Paranormal/ Urban Fantasy Series.
C. My military Romantic Suspense series is The SEAL Team Heartbreakers. My latest release in that series is Breaking Boundaries, book five. It was really supposed to be a novella about one of the minor characters in the second book of the series, a young Marine, Callahan Crowes, an amputee, who saves lives during a terrorist bombing at a hospital. His story was so compelling it deserved more, so it ended up being a full-length book and his love interest is the sister of one of my SEALs.

The public firestorm pushes Cal into the limelight in ways he least expects, but shows him a missing limb’s not the barrier to love he’s believed it is. But there’s something besides business politics brewing at work, and when Kathleen’s life is threatened, she discovers there’s more to a man than two good legs—it’s the size of his heart that counts.
3) What drew you to writing Navy SEAL romances? What is your professional background and has it contributed to your story telling?
My father was a Marine for 24 years so I grew up a Marine Corps brat. We lived on military posts all over the country. Even though I didn’t go into the military myself, I was influenced by my father and all the men and women we were stationed with while growing up.
Writing Military Romance came more naturally to me than any other genre. I became addicted to it. Or maybe addicted to my guys. Five books and a novella later, I’m still writing books for the SEAL Team Heartbreaker Series. The next release will be Breaking Out, due out in May. It’s Ensign Zach ‘Doc’ O’Connor’s book, the medic of the team.
I’m a retired art teacher with a degree in English. I’ve taught art and art history to every grade level from preschool to college. But I’ve been a closet writer since my children were small. I have 9 manuscripts under my bed readers will never see. They were my practice novels filled with flaws and scattered passages of brilliance, but not quite good enough to publish. Without those 9 novels I wouldn’t have the 11 full-length books and several other pieces out now.
4) Have you read any of Marliss Melton’s Navy SEAL books? If so, which was your favorite?
I’ve read several Marliss Melton Navy SEAL books. Next To Die, Time To Run, In The Dark, Forget Me Not, and Code of Silence, a novella from the SEALed With A Kiss Anthology. My favorite is Forget Me Not. The hero is both vulnerable and strong at the beginning of the book having been held captive for over a year and tortured. The heroine has been forced to stand strong while he was MIA and presumed dead. As he regains his mental and physical strength he learns how to open himself to his wife and daughter in ways he never had before. It’s very touching to see the hero and his wife find each other again. And how they find a better balance in their relationship during this second chance.
