Zak and Amy are destined for each other. After successfully passing the BUD/S training, and helping to stop a San Francisco terrorist attack, Zak goes to the arena of war with the rest of his SEAL Team 3 buddies, to return a changed man. Amy will have to negotiate the pain in her heart as she works to discover the man she loved going off to war is still the man of her dreams, and only if she can convince Zak he still is that man.

1) Sharon, please tell us what your SEAL books are like? Are they suspenseful? Hot and steamy? What words would you use to describe them.
Someone wiser than me (ahem) described them as “like a thick bar of chocolate” and that has pretty much stuck! I give some suspense, but the emotional roller coaster is what I’m known for, beautiful love scenes that can be action sequences (lol). The dangerous nature of their work and exotic or sometimes domestic locations are the backdrop for something that will emotionally grip the reader. I want them to remember the characters and dream about them long after they are finished.

2) What are the names of any series you have written, and what’s your latest release?
My 13 books in the SEAL Brotherhood Series are broken into parts. The first four (Accidental SEAL, Fallen SEAL Legacy, SEAL Under Covers and SEAL The Deal) should be read in order. Then Cruisin for a SEAL, SEAL My Destiny, SEAL of My Heart are books 5-7. Starting with Book 8, are the Bad Boys of SEAL Team 3: SEAL’s Promise, SEAL My Home and SEAL’s Code. Book 11 is another new series: Band of Bachelors, starting with Band of Bachelors: Lucas. Book 12 is another new series: Nashville SEALs, and Book 13, another new series, True Blue SEALs: Zak. There will be new books in the Nashville SEALs, Band of Bachelors and True Blue SEALs series coming out in 2016.
The overall series name will always be the same: SEAL Brotherhood.

3) What drew you to writing Navy SEAL romances? What is your professional background and has it contributed to your story telling?
My son was a Navy SEAL for 10 years and served with distinction. I grew to appreciate and love the Brotherhood, the community and the family I feel I am now a part of forever. Although he has reminded me not every SEAL is as honorable as perhaps I portray them, I will always write SEALs as being among the best and brightest our Navy has created. That isn’t to say they are better than other branches or some of the combined forces or SOF groups, but in my books, they will always be portrayed as eventually finding their correct path and adhering to a code of conduct that would make us all proud. I do take poetic license with my books, and I realize that not everything in them would or could occur in realtime.
4) Have you read any of Marliss Melton’s Navy SEAL books? If so, which was your favorite?
I’ve been a huge fan of Marliss Melton for years and have read just about every book she has written!
5) What prize will you be giving to a random reader who takes the time to leave a comment on this blog?
I will reward a pink mini SWAG bag with a print book of the reader’s choice, signed, to one reader who answers this question: WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT READING NAVY SEAL STORIES?    (I can also do a Kindle or Audio book if the reader prefers.)
